This novella is based on minor characters from the novel, The Solid Rock. However, it can be read without reading the novel or the other novellas in the series.

After much thought and rewriting, the sisters send off a letter offering both of them as brides. When the train tickets arrive, they are excited and laugh off their parents fear.Sadly the parents were justified in their anxiety and the girls end up in dire straits. Will they meet the cowboys they dream of or ask their parents for tickets to return home?
I am addicted to this series of novellas. I look forward to the next installment to learn about Adelaide. She is intriguing.

5 star's for this book by Faith Blum. This book belongs to a series called "Hymns of the West Novella" . I am trying to read them in order, but it's not necessary. I enjoyed the story and hope you will too!!!!!!
Every much enjoyed
Very choppy--seemed put together in about five minutes. Earlier books in series much better. Disappointed! No depth in character development--just thrown together conversations.
Great western genre books. Great storylines and characters. I think you will enjoy these stories.
Wonderful storyline.
That is exactly true of this book. You never knew what you were getting into when you went west as a mail order bride. Thankfully things worked out for these women and the men that they met. A wonderful book.
